Some days I am weak and I need something sweet and yummy and *not* green, but at the same time I’m still kind of strong and don’t want to dive into a pint of coconut Talenti and really blow it all. This is what I have on those medium strong/weak days.
This little smoothie satisfies my sweet tooth, fills me up, fakes my body out that I have had something decadent, yet isn’t a total loss for my diet.
Just blend all ingredients until smooth. I like to peel bananas and freeze them whole, then they’re ready for me to use in smoothies or whip up as an ice cream. I use organic, natural peanut butter and unsweetened almond milk. Almond milk is growing on me. I don’t exactly pour up a glass and drink it straight yet, but I have been using it in baking and things like this. As always, I use raw organic honey.
You can vary your measurements of ice and milk to get it as thick as you want. You can vary you measurements on everything but adding more peanut butter is going to put the calorie count way up there. I don’t count calories but I did for you. 🙂
